“Zero-attack” limiters across all output channels guarantee optimized signal and loudspeaker safety. You get exacting dynamic EQs for level-dependent equalization and highly musical parametrics, selectable for all inputs and outputs. Effortless connection of external digital signals (with sampling rates from 32 to 96kHz) is a cinch with the DCX2496’s built-in sample rate converter. High-end AKM 24-bit/96kHz D/A and A/D converters give you major signal integrity and a breathtaking dynamic range of 113dB. With its 3 analog inputs (one works as a digital stereo AES/EBU input) and 6 analog outputs, you get maximum flexibility in just one rack space. ![]() The Behringer Ultra-Drive Pro DCX2496 is all about giving you massive flexibility. Behringer Ultra-Drive Pro DCX2496 at a Glance: If you’ve got a passel of loudspeakers to manage, you need Behringer’s Ultra-Drive Pro DCX2496. You also get four different mono and stereo output operating modes, your choice of Butterworth, Bessel and Linkwitz-Riley filters, adjustable delays for all inputs and outputs, limiters across all output channels, and a potpourri of EQ options. The DCX2496 gives you superb AKM 24-bit/96kHz digital converters for exceptional signal integrity and a robust dynamic range of 113dB. This way you could simply pop out the EEPROM and rewrite it in a EEPROM burner and skip the entire remote software. #BEHRINGER DCX2496 ULTRADRIVE PRO SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD ARCHIVE#I then decided to read back the EEPROM (AM29F040B) and archive it in case of failure. Manually flashing the ROM should work in all cases. It may have been a coincidence that it worked for me. Updated: I have been informed by a Brazilian reader that the 1.16a software didn't work for them. I was able to successfully update the software to 1.16 by using the DCX Remote 1.16 a software. Recovery is possible from this state by rebooting the unit while holding the A channel button, this puts it into software load mode. This bricked the unit and it would stay at the boot splash. This update failed, with the software reporting a failure. I decided to update my DCX2496 from FW 1.14 to 1.16 using Behringers software. I bricked my DCX2496 while updating the firmware, but I got it back. ![]()
